The documented announcement
On 24 July 2023, DiaCarta announced a strategic partnership with New Jersey-based Hopkins MedTech Compliance and Hopkins MedTech Lab Services. The announcement described support for IVD regulatory compliance and laboratory-developed-test validation. It presented HMC’s clinical and regulatory work and HML’s laboratory-related activities separately.
Keep entity boundaries visible
The announcement also described DiaCarta’s own laboratory capabilities. Those statements should not be reassigned to HMC. An associated company’s laboratory, a partner’s accreditation and HMC’s consulting service are different facts, even when they support the same project.
